God scored 90th international century.... Another milestone achieved or should I say created???.. Yaa.. created would be a better word..... Many more to be created... Everytime he scores a run.. its a world record... Everytime he takes guard.. its a world record... The man... sorry *God*... himself looks like a mythological figure with so many miracles on his name...
It seems perfectly logical that God chose Sachin to prove his identity.. Cos, people believe in different Gods... At least they believe that each religion/cast/creed has different God.. So it was natural for God to choose a way where people from all casts/creeds/religions would praise him/appreciate him.. India is such a country that is home to all sorts of people... Cricket is one such religion that has no boundaries.. So it was a well calculated move by God to present himself as "Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar". Now, people can praise him without caring for religion and God does not have to prove his identity separately for each group among humans...
Some people try to criticize God... People who haven't even played 90 first class matches (let alone international matches) try to find flaws in God's technique.. People who have got his wicket (by the grace of some Great Umpires) try to boast of their achievements... Some people try to show themselves to be better batsmen by trying to score more runs.. But they forget the very basic fact.. They are mere mortals... they forget contribution of others in their success.. they had best bowlers in their side.. (and never actually faced the best bowling attack...), they succumbed to even the lowest of pressure (could not even shoulder expectations of few million people, let alone a billion plus people)... could not show same humbleness after scoring few runs... (afterall, genes play an important role in one's behavior)... were rarely a player who can carry entire team along with him.. others had 4 equally good batsmen to support them.. God, single-handedly carried entire team for more than 10 years.. There are people who switch off their tv when he is (given) out... And there are people who follow only Sachin after the match fixing scenario...
People who try each and everything to be called The Best Batsman... they forget that you can't *BEG* for the status.. you have to *EARN* that.. Try to carry burden of a billion people, try to face the best bowling attack in the world.. try not to depend on any single batsman in your team to score runs if you are (given) out.. try to be humble.. try to be a sportsman.. stop to claim fake catches.. stop to allege others racially, stop managing umpires.. just concentrate on your batting... you still have a lot to achieve..although you won't have that Aura or Grace or Perfection or Touch... in short you will never be GOD ... you *MORTAL*....

If cricket is a religion, Sachin is GOD...

Few years ago, Lara was comapred with God, then came Steve Waugh, then Ponting and KP. But people (who critisize him, I call them atheists) forget that he is there in every discussion.
I just hate to think that he will retire in few years.
Hope that he continues his great charms until eternity...
